As a Manager of Travel Agent Distribution you will lead Expedia.com's B2B efforts in new EMEA PoS and specifically in Spain. Responsibilities will include: (1) project managing pre-launch activities (contracts, marketing plans, scouting of vendors,...) (2) managing Expedia.com's travel agents efforts in Spain and Latin America , (3) managing and optimizing a marketing plan to drive business goals, (4) building new partner relationships to enhance Expedia.coms efforts in the region.
Responsibilities: Driving new partner development, focusing mainly on independent travel agency Managing new and existing partner relationships with major affiliates Optimizing marketing spend, allocating resources to more efficient channels (telemarketing, direct marketing, tradeshows, trade magazines, etc.) Removing barriers to success by partnering with and managing all internal functions (Development, Legal, etc.)
Qualifications: Bachelors or equivalent degree required Relevant years of experience either in business development/project management or in consultancy Good numerical and analytical skills Travel industry experience Strong interpersonal skills (externally and internally) Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Proactive approach Fluency in English and Spanish
